Counter Extensions, Swivel Adapters and Mechanical Rate of Flow Indicators

Mechanical registers

Counter extensions are used to move the mechanical registration to a higher viewing area when used in applications where the meter may be located on the ground, but the totals must be viewed on top of a loading rack.

Swivel adapters permit rotating counter or counter printer as desired throughout a 360° range.

Mechanical Rate of Flow Indicators can be supplied in choice of Gallons and Metric units of measure. Direct reading dial shows rate-of-flow through meter to within 2% at full scale reading. Indicator is mounted on a specially designed adjuster cover plate for viewing from front of meter.

Specifications

Counter Extensions are available in lengths from 12″ through 144″. The use of an electronic register and Pulse Output Device (POD) allows an electronic register to be mounted separately from the meter without the need for a counter extension.

Air Check Valves

Air Actuated Check Valves for use with M7, M10, M15, M25 and M30 meters

Air Check Valves

Materials of Construction

  • Aluminum
  • Stainless Steel

Design Features

Air check valves are spring loaded valves on the outlet side of the meter. Most Liquid Controls meter systems with an air eliminator also have an air check or a differential valve. Air eliminators and air check valves work in conjunction to stop the flow of product through the meter until the air is eliminated from the system. In order to do this, the air eliminator and the valve are piped together at installation.

Specifications

Air actuated check valves are for use with M-7, M-10, M-15, M-25 and M-30 Meters. They are designed to stop the flow whenever air or vapor is present, thereby assuring accurate measurement. The valves are available in aluminum or stainless steel 2″ or aluminum 3″ and 4″ and are rated to 150psi.

Check Valves

Materials of Construction

  • Aluminum (Back Check)
  • Cadmium plated steel (spring loaded check)

Back Check Valves. Designed to prevent reverse flow and eliminate counter advancement when PTO is engaged. Includes built-in pressure relief to keep the meter, downstream piping and delivery hose packed to a set pressure. Full port design assures maximum system flow rate.

Spring Loaded Check Valves. Provides back pressure to increase air/vapor eliminator efficiency and to prevent reverse flow.

V15 and V30 Valves

Positive Displacement Meter – V-15 and V-30 Valves

V15 and V30 Preset valves are designed to function with a mechanical preset to effectively shut down the flow after a predetermined amount of product is delivered. The preset allows this valve to be mechanically shut down in a single stage or in two-stages. Single stage shut downs are generally utilized with slower flow rates or with more viscous products where hydraulic shock is less of an issue. A two-stage shutdown allows for a slowing of the flow rate before the final positive shutdown, thus avoiding hydraulic shock.

Specifications

Aluminum V-15 and V-30 Valves For M-15 and M-30 Meters, Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, 15 and 16. PTFE seals or seals made of Viton®. This angle valve is indexable in 90° increments with valve outlet facing up, down, back or front. Rated to 150psi.
